They're both great in different ways. I strongly disagree with the "Batman has better stories" people. I doubt they've read much Daredevil. On average I'd say Daredevil is actually the most consistently well-written character in Marvel or DC mainstream franchises. Batman has the advantage of having way more stories written about him, giving him a deeper mythos and many iconic stories. But for every "The Dark Knight Returns" there is an "All-Star Batman and Robin".
Anyway, no need to choose between them. You can enjoy both.
