Where's Diana's respect?

In the Trinity of DC, why is it that Batman gets to be the master tactician with enough PIS related feats to start a name for it and Superman is treated as the champion of Earth with enough strength related PIS feats to make my head hurt, but Wonder Woman is never treated with the same honor?

Superman is everyone's idol, even in the N52 where he's done jacksh*t and every villain is supposed to be afraid of Batman, but how come DC never emphasis Diana's strengths?

Why is she always someone's girlfriend? Can someone tell me and post why Diana is a part of DC Trinity?

Because he has no powers and if he didn't, wouldn't be relative to squat. Wonder Woman already beat the crap out of him and supes before.

Because Detective Comics Comics and Warner Bros are very focused on keeping their two most profitable cash cows from the last 40 years going.

Also, WW is a woman in a very male-dominated industry that was until recently marketed primarily to a male-dominated audience, the woman part just appears to make it 1000% harder in everything.

Well wonder woman is just a lesser character. Don't get mad at me for saying it, but she doesn't sell like supes and batman so to dc, she is. However the trinity consists of those three for actual reasons, which you can find in Matt Wagner's Trinity book or the one cheesestabber recommended.

WW is essentially a lesser Superman with more h2h skill. She's a median between Batman and Superman imo. I don't care about her honestly. There will be the sexist cries but honestly, she hasn't done a ton and her stories don't rival Batman and Supermans. Almost everyone knows of Wonder Woman though so that in itself should speak pretty loudly in terms of her popularity.

well she's important and makes the League what it is. Her JLA work is known more then her solo work.

but I still feel her outfit keeps her from being taken serious as some of her arc demand she should be. League of One and Paradise Lost is as good as anything.

her villains need to be better, they started exploring the Greek mythology more but the stay with the Gods. There are monsters and monster makers that could be rogues. As a demigod she she be far more connected to the celestials and magic aspects of the world(her and Shazam). New52 Cheetah is a good example. Is there more artifacts like the Godslayer. If someone else cut themselves with it do the take the powers of the other gods killed by it? I care how they come about but never the less WW needs villains that will stick. She need arcs people will remember and bring up. She also needs consistent supporting characters in her works. She doesn't need to be Supes/Bats girlfriend she deserve her own love interest. But she does need her own Lois/Lucius/Alfred/wards etc. that fit her personality. What they done with Wonder Girl fits the magical artifacts vibe Cheetah has so there are possible connections with established characters out there. Blue Beetle scarab comes from space but could be made by space gods and now a connection to space for the superhero yet celestial Wonder Woman. She dealt with the New Gods already, explore space gods and religions now.

I think the Trinity for DC is nothing more than there 3 oldest heroes. Superman (1938) Batman (1939) and WW (1941) are it. At least as far as characters that started out with their own titles. And..FWIW, in the New 52, Batman has the best book of the three, Superman has had the worst, WW's title, while below Snyder's Batman, has been darn good. (IMHO)

Better start respecting Wonder Woman, people. She's starting to get fed-up...

Well the JLA feels that it would be a sausage fest without her. The JLA would go hungry if it wasn't for Wonder Woman. Bizarro wouldn't have a toy to play with if it wasn't for Wonder Woman. She is important what are you talking about :P

This. It's the same with everything from comics, games and movies all the way to employment and politics. White men are received the most positively. The further you pull away from that the harder it is to be well received. So I guess all the Wonder Woman fans out there can thank god she's white, otherwise she'd be getting treated a lot worse... Our species is terrible.

I dislike how people think she is either a Superwoman or Supermodel that can´t do anything.

She shouldnt be anybody´s girlfriend of Trinity or Justice League.

And she has untap potencial and she could so much more.

She doesn't deserve any respect.
