Where to start with Spider-Man?

I very recently started reading Ultimate Spider-Man. Needless to say, it's amazing. I'd really like to read more of Peter Parker, so not the new series. I'm not at all interested in silver age or team-up series. I'm up for anything from the mid-80s to the present.
