where are the healers?

in comics you have super powered people with powers that allow them to cover all manner of roles in combat. yet you really never see super powered person who is a healer. oh sure there are people with healing powers, yet you never see a person standing in the thick of combat rapidly healing comrades back up from severe damage. imagine if poison ivy could also grow mutant plants that oozed a sap that could heal major wounds, or Iron Man had Pepper Pots out as Rescue playing as a combat medic from starcraft.

Generally speaking, the extremely super powerful superheroes rarely get hurt, or if they did, they normally have some sort of self- healing powers of their own.
