When marvel reboots....

Expect it to be versions of the movies put into one world. Ironman will be like RDJ, Wolverine will lose the yellow costume and just look like he does in the movies and fantastic four depending on the success.... well you get the point.

How do would you feel if they do take this route?

@kfabz-23: Well if they did reboot like that then there would be no X-Men or Fantastic Four since they don't have the movie rights.

Then Galactus and/or the Phoenix Force would have afield day. I always liked What If issues when you saw what happened if other team would have battled a tough adversary.

I'm more worried about my characters I enjoy like The Punisher, Ghost Rider, and such. If they make Ghost Rider anything like his movie counterpart then I don't think I could read Marvel comics ever again lol

Still don't see a reboot coming.

It seems people think every event is going to lead to reboot these days. I remember people screaming reboot with Age of Ultron.

Except Marvel's cinematic universe is already an official, separate universe. Marvel even gave it a number.

There's no reboot coming. It seems like a lot of people (DC fans) are praying for Marvel to reboot so they can say I told you so.

I feel like they are just going to rework a couple of things closer to the films and while I don't think it's a good idea I also couldn't write a comic worth reading to save my life!!!

@wavemotioncannon: Really hoping for a reboot, would love them to reboot so I can read every rebooted title. @the_jackolantern: I am pretty sure you are wrong, I reckon everyone who is into comics. If they were given the resources they could easily write a good comic.

@guru_crack: I'm not I like uninterrupted continuity, the New 52 brought me back to DC but the timeline confused me because it erased all the stuff I knew of before and I was lost for a second. With Marvel everything that happened before Secret Wars will still have happened so you can still refer back to it if need be.

@wavemotioncannon: hmmm problem is I like the original X-Men team ect... which the comics for them are long gone with members of that team older and all over the place. So I could go read the older titles but honestly the art work just isn't there then. So really hoping for a good reboot.

I don't think they will flush 50 years of semi continuity down the toilet for the sake of making things more like the mcu. They don't need a reboot to make things more like the mcu anyhow. They would just need artists to draw a few characters more like their mcu counterparts.

DC will return to the old DCU soon (Convergence will start the process, mark my words). I'd like to think that Marvel will learn from DC's mistakes.

@lesterlawton: I thinknthey already learned that's why Secret Wars supposedly won't erase their history like New 52 did.

Its a merge not a reboot i don't get why everyone is so confused

Whatever Jonathan Hickman does I'm sure Secret Wars will be great. But since he's leaving Marvel (for now) and if this is a reboot...count me out. I mean if it's as bad as the New 52 was.
