Personally I don't care how much is changed, as long as it's good without looking at the comics. What do you guys think?
When does a CBM change too much?
When the end product is bad.
Always people dont complaint about change.
They complaint about the fact things arent the way they wish.
A better question is, "When is change forgivable?"
And to me the correct answer is when it fixes the pace of a movie. Obviously not always, but if it doesn't even do that, I don't see the point in the change.
When the end product is bad.
This. I don't care if CBMs change the material as long as they make it work.
Well, I found it to be like watching some guy dressed in a Bat suit, than watching a movie about "The World's Greatest Detective." So, to answer your question, I care. :P
@greatcaesarsghost: But did you like the movies?

To be honest, not really. I haven't seen the Dark Knight Rises, ( just haven't gotten around to it.) They weren't as awful as I like to make them out to be, but they didn't live up to their potential. I realize they were liked by a lot of people, and made money, so obviously they're doing something right, but they weren't for me.
@greatcaesarsghost: Well it's tough to speak for the minority, and of course I can't tell you your opinion is wrong. I can't think of anyway to end this comment.

Opinions differ. Even though we disagree, you at least understand that the flicks differed from the comics enough to be a noticeable difference. *shrug* That's enough common ground for me. I'm hoping that Affleck's Batman feels more like comics Batman.
@greatcaesarsghost: I feel like he'll probably be closer to the real deal. Synder loves Batman and will probably sleep with The Dark Knight Returns under his pillow.

I'm actually mostly excited for the solo Batman flicks coming out after. :)
@greatcaesarsghost: I'm really hoping Affleck directs them.

...Wow. I never thought about it that way, but you're totally right.

That its a myth, isnt like what most people believe Batman has always being, but if you study Batman more, you notice he put a lot of thing in the movies.

Just because he decide that Batman Flanderization wasnt what he wanted, didnt mean it doesnt have anything of the comics.
@deathpoolthet1000: I was obviously exaggerating a little bit... But any Bat fan (such as myself) can tell you that Batman from TDKT isn't the Batman from the comics.

Because "The Batman from the comics" its a myth, there isnt just one Batman in the comics there is several interpretations of the character and almost all of them are valid interpretations of the character.
Every interpretations is one Batman and part of Batman as a whole.
