Whedon-less Avengers 3?

Though, the rumour itself is fairly old, I didn't see any threads for it. Although the validity of the rumour is questionable, how would people feel about the Russo Brothers (CA: The Winter Soldier) directing the Infinity War instead of Whedon?

Note: Of course if they did direct, it still wouldn't rule out Whedon not writing the screenplay as he did the other two Avengers.

I want Whedon to direct Captain Marvel.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate him, but he does have disdain for Captain America and Thor, which was apparent in both their treatment in the film, and his interviews. I wish he would be upfront about it so that they'd get him off the project. And I'm not a big fan of the Whedon flavour at all where everybody seems motivated by what comes out of their mouths, and not the other way around.

The reason why Whedon, Downey Jr, Hemsworth, Chris Evans and all the other Avengers collaborators are leaving is because they all cost too much money to keep on board at this point. Disney and Marvel Studios can get people to do a similar job for cheaper.

Their contracts are all up after one more film. Chris Evans has even publicly admitted he is done with acting after his Marvel contract is up....Unless, you know something I don't know. They are all too expensive to resign.

If they give us the Russo brothers for Avengers 3 I would prefer it over Whedon. The comedy blends better in Winter Soldier than it did in Avengers, which I felt was a bit forced at times... all the time.

@cattlebattle: That's not until 2019 by the earliest.

And never take what these actors say seriously. Because they can't make up their minds.

Still, to belabor my point, they are all leaving after one more film...because they are too expensive to resign, including Whedon who has a major price tag and demands more money for the films after Avengers was so successful.

@cattlebattle: Disney is smart. They know that when the chips are down, they'll always get what they want. Take RDJ for example. He wanted to play hard to get about being in the MCU after IM3. But what happended after the Judge flopped? He's back on the Marvel train. When Disney stops raisng their paycheck, the gang are gonna deal with it. Because like you said, Disney is willing to replace. So i have no worries about the actor leaving because they're too expensive.
