So I read New52 Green Arrow one and two before dropping it, I was very disappointed and it just wasn't that good.

but Now I can't help but hearing how good it has gotten pretty regularly so if I was to give it another go, which issue is a good start?

is it a specific writer that improved the comic? (like issue 7 the start of Anne Nocenti?)

@bierschneeman: a trade comes out tomorrow called Vol 4 "The Kill Machine", it collects issues 17-24 and 23.1, you should just buy that.
