What Would You Do if You Found An Action #1?

I find myself thinking about this quite often. What would I actually do if I found an Action Comics #1, Detective #27, Amazing Fantasy #15, etc. I guess for me it would depend on which one I found... So for me, I'll think about Detective 27 since Batman is my favorite hero. If I some how managed to find one, would I keep it or sell it? I mean... even an issue in terrible condition is still worth over 100 grand. But I would be so enamored by it, that I would feel compelled to keep it. But then again, it seems like it could be silly not to sell it... So what would you do if you found one of these legendary issues? Would you keep it or sell it?

I would be really tempted to sell it. Think of all the comics ( and other stuff ) you could buy with the money you made from it.

I would keep it personally.

Personally there would be no debate, it would be sold straight away.

I would display it in my house for a few months until the "ooh ahh" factor wore off, then sell it to fund a mountain of other cool purchases.

I'd definitely sell it. The money I could make outweighs the "simply having it" factor.

I would probably keep any of those three you cited. Well, first of all i would go absolutly crazy, i would scream & shout, run & jump. Then i would show it to everyone i know.

And after that i would keep it in a glass box on my comic book shelf.

Sell it asap. Pay off my debts. Buy a car. Buy my own house. Quit my job. Pay my way through school. Hookers. Blow. Video games. Comics. et all.

Have it checked for authenticity, take a picture of myself holding it, and then sell it.

Far as I know keeping them their value only goes up overtime. So keeping it would be a good idea for retirement. On the other hand somebody could find a crate of them and the price drop down to nothing. So maybe sell it and invest?

@ctan90: Good thought.. That crate would have to have a ton of issues in them though. Considering there's less than 100 copies known to exist of Detective 27 and Action 1

I would immediately sell that. I don't care about owning it, I care more about upcoming trades and what not than the first issues. That and fat bank.

I'd sell it. I really don't collect Superman and would have no reason to keep it besides the ability to say I own it.

I'd keep Amazing Fantasy 15 though.

I'd sell any of them. It'd pay for college, a future car, and oh so many comics.

@thecannon: Fantasy 15 would probably be the one I'd have the best chance of keeping... Since it's worth the least.

I'd sell anything except Detective Comics #27. I'd have to keep that.

Action Comics #1: Read it, then sell it before it gets ruined by my younger brothers and sisters.

Detective Comics #27: Sell it immediately (not a huge Batman fan except for the DCAU version)

Amazing Fantasy #15: Sell it, already have a reprint around here somewhere in a collection along with Amazing Spider-Man #1-6; and again, I wouldn't want it to get ruined.

Read them, sell them immediately afterwards. They're worth over 5.6 million dollars together.

At an auction, rack up the price far beyond the actual selling market price.
