Personally I feel The Dark Knight has everything a fan could want in a live action Batman movie (unless you wanted Robin or Batgirl :P). It has a great Batman/Bruce Wayne, amazingly sinister villain, superb supporting cast, and thrilling storyline. It's got epic action, plenty of gadgets and vehicles.

Dark Knight for me followed by Begins

Rises was a let down and Batman although good feels a bit dated when you watch now.

Dark Knight Rises followed by the original Batman. To be honest I didn't love Dark Knight (It was okay, not amazing not terrible) but TDKR was mindblowing for me

I said it was okay. Heath Ledger was amazing, but as good as he was, that's how bad and annoying Maggie Gyllenhall is. She and her AWFUL portrayal of Rachel Dawes ruined the movie from being a masterpiece. The ending was kinda lame too.

Dark Knight rises for me, Tim Burton's Batman being a close second, mostly because of Jack Nicholson's Joker. Man! I'm going to have to watch those movies again...

These are the only ones I've thoroughly enjoyed.

Batman Forever, quite easily to.

The Dark Knight Rises, easily. I'll laugh so hard if someone says B&R.

As much as I love TDK and TDKR, Begins is still my personal favorite. I love the tone of it and a lot of it was more interesting than just chasing after the Joker. TDK is still a super close second, but Begins is on top!

Batman Returns. I can't take Nolan's Batman seriously.

Live action The Dark Knight, Begins, Batman Returns

Animated Batman under the Redhood, Batman Beyond return of the Joker, Batan the dark knight returns.

Begins followed by the rest of the trilogy.. Not a very big fan of the older Bat movies.
