What villian deserves a on-going run?
What villian do you think deserves a on-going?
Rogues. Solomon Grundy. Dr doom. Led luthor.
this plus owlman
I don't know much about, Bane but I feel like he could be pretty good if they go by his intellect feats in The Dark Knight Rises.

Actually Bane has had a mini tie in to knightfall and one after that, they were pretty good and showed his intellect and determination.
Deathstroke but he's actually getting one
Black Adam for sure. It would be interesting to see him defend his country with the sons of Adam. Also if a Joker on going had a great story , it would sell more than most superhero on goings.
Hmmmmmmmm Doctor Doom, Taskmaster, and Loki are a few that come to mind.
Loki has an ongoing
Maybe a Bizzarro ongoing for DC. For Marvel, perhaps a series following the Ghost Rider (Ketch) villain Deathwatch as he rebuilds his old criminal organization anew.
DC:
- Bane - Burst into the Batman mythos as a martial and mental equal to Bruce, and has fluctuated a lot since then. While he isn't my favorite Batman villain, nor the most popular Batman villain, I feel he has more depth than most and could carry a solo.
- The Rogues - I'm not a Flash fan, or a Rogues fan, but criminals with a moral code are always interesting.
- Black Adam - As the leader of a country, and having a stake in seeing the world live on, it'd be interesting seeing him defend the Earth out of necessity and not altruism.
Marvel:
- Doc Ock - I know Superior Spider-Man put a sour taste in many a Spidey-fans mouths, but it honestly did develop Doc Ock fairly well. When he returns in full (we know he will as Ock or as another Spidey somehow, and not just in Spider-Verse) it'd be interesting to see that change continue on and have him take on an evolving anti-hero type roll.
- Dr. Doom - Same reasons as Black Adam, especially since the Avengers have been doing more in space it seems. Avengers are off-world and Doom steps up and rallies some villains out of pragmatism? It could work.
- Lizard - Slott has us at a crossroads with Curt Connors. His Lizard form is more powerful than ever, but Curt Connors' mind is fully restored and in control. I'd be awesome to see him take on a hero's role while continuing to look for a cure. It could be like combining the early stories of the Thing and Hulk, only with scales.
There are more, but I wanted to narrow it to 3 for each.
@spideysense44: exactly lol. Just because he has one doesn't mean he doesn't deserve one.
Off the top of my head i would say Doom to. There was supposed to have been a mini series about a year or so ago, got as far as a preview image being released but never made it to shelves, I was really disappointed about that :/
Great ideas above especially The Joker and Doom. The only one I would add is The Kingpin. I loved his little story arc during the Civil War where it mentioned his childhood and how he played Tony Stark.
@darling_luna: Smart or Dumb Grundy?
@ostyo: Dumb, with hints of smart
Black Adam
Rogues
I would love to see a series that focuses on random villains henchmen 2-3 issues for each villain.
@darling_luna: Nice, I would definitely read that.
