What the heck ever happened to Eddie Brock?

Like really...Where the heck did the dude go?

Replaced by a more interesting character.

Eddie Brock lost his Anti-Venom symbiote in Spider-Island, Crime Master had Patrick Mulligan killed and stole the Toxin symbiote, Crime Master eventually took Brock hostage and bonded the Toxin symbiote to him. Last time I checked, Eddie was in Bunn's Venom run.
