What should be done with the Teen Heroes?

My question is simple, what do you think Marvel and DC's plans are for the large amount of teen heroes they've created? For a time some of the characters were pushed to be the next generation of heroes yet majority of the time Marvel or DC goes into the future (Marvel more often than DC) the teen heroes aren't even around and instead are replaced with the children of the heroes we have now.

Probably more of the same, they'll pander to a younger audience and I will most likely hate it :/

@oosupermanthathoeoo: I'm hoping it might change. The Young Avengers had another short lived series and the older/young X-Men characters seem to be getting more focus in WaTX though
