I just recently got into comics after skimming through them for my whole life. My first pull list is:

Hawkeye

Uncanny X-Men

All New X-Men

Ultimate Spiderman

Avengers

New Avengers

Guardians of the Galaxy

Aquaman

Justice League

Justice League America

Justice League Dark

Batman

Do you guys have any suggestions for my list? I don't have room in my budget for much more, but I am still open!

Congratulations on making your first pull list. I always recommend Valiant comics. They are a phenomenal publisher that has better writing than both DC and Marvel. They have the following books and I recommend all of them. You choose what you want: Harbinger, X-O Manowar, Shadowman, Bloodshot, and Archer & Armstrong.

My pull list is small because I don't have the money to spend but I hopefully can expand it in the future:

  • Thor: God of Thunder
  • Journey into Mystery
  • Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Green Lantern
  • Green Lantern: New Guardians
  • X-O Manowar

@sst: Congrats on the first pull list! You've got some pretty good stuff.

As for recommends... Looks like you have all the good stuff covered...

Although, I have to recommend Deadpool. It's been an awesome, hilarious, ride so far, and with a new story arc starting with issue #8 it's a great place to jump in. It's a nice break from the more serious comics.

And it only cost 2.99, so it shouldn't break your budget if you decide to try it.

Here's what mine looks like (I don't have much money either. :P):

  • Batman
  • Deadpool
  • Aquaman
  • Guardians of the Galaxy

And I plan to start getting Superman Unchained when it comes out in June.

My brother gets Thor: god of thunder so I get to read those for free. ;)

Oh, and welcome to Comic Vine! :D
