I know that there is now an official commitee on what is canon and what is not, but the question is how much is going to be edited. I mean, I know editors can be sort of dumb sometimes, but even they must realize getting rid of all the EU would erupt a horrible controversy that makes the New 52 and most recent Marvel events looks like a hiccup
What's going to happen to the EU?
What's the EU?
The Star Wars Expanded Universe (i.e. everything not in the movies).
I'm not sure if it's going to stay, but I won't be happy if I'm told all of my favorite stories didn't count.

Ah okay, thanks. I don't read Star Wars comics much but from what I've read (rumors) Marvel is rebooting everything.

Wasn't the Brian Wood book that started a year ago supposed to do that?

I've read a few issues of that and it was really good -- unfortunately it's moot now since Marvel will probably want their continuity to be their own.
@krspacet: they are cutting them all

It started OK, but I think it got really dull.
I haven't read much of the EU, but I love the X-wing books (and comics). And if all the adventures of the Rogues and Wraiths are declared invalid, I'm going to personally punch J.J. Abrams' teeth out.
(OK, that's probably not going to happen, but let me have my revenge fantasy).
