I'm only reading Harbinger and X-O Manowar from Valiant right now. I might start Suicide Risk by Boom! soon, though, and maaaayyyybbbeee TMNT. I'm extremely skeptical about TMNT despite literally every review I've read telling me I should read it.

IDW's TMNT is amazing. Been following that since the start of City Fall and I've yet to be anything but blown away.

I have the old Al Simmons Spawn (Image) collection from back in the 90s, and have been giving serious though to reading Jim Downing's story as Spawn.

I recently started reading Copra by Michel Fiffe. It's his love letter to Ostrander's Suicide Squad and Nocenti era Daredevil. It is very, very good and I recommend it to everyone. He is coming up with some of the most imaginative page layouts in comics today. What's also cool is that he does everything on the book himself and is able to stick to a monthly schedule.

The other non-Big 2 comics I'm reading regularly are The Walking Dead and Sex Criminals.

Valiant:

Harbinger | X-O Manowar | Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps | Quantum & Woody | Eternal Warrior | Shadowman | Archer and Armstrong | Unity (Next month)

Image:

Invincible | Walking Dead | Fatale | Saga

Was reading BLOODSHOT from Valiant for a while. It was really good when it was all about Bloodshot.

I have enjoyed the last couple issues with H.A.R.D. Corps. I think that it will lead to a very interesting dynamic between them, Bloodshot, and PRS.

I used to absolutely hate TMNT and all incarnations..unitl I read IDW's current run and watched the current Nick cartoon, now I'm a shell of a fan.

Going off these choices, should I pick up Witchblade? Been considering it, but haven't made up my mind one way or the other.

Yeah, Saga is a really great series! It's basically about two lovers trying to escape a war with their child and the government is chasing after them because they are from two different sides.

I try to keep up with -

  • Judge Dredd
  • ABC Warriors
  • Strontium Dog

I'm also a fan of Kingdom, but at a pace of like 60 pages every two years it can be very frustrating.

Image: Invincible, Sagas, Manhattan Projects, Lazarus, Sex Criminals, Chew, Rocket Girl

Dynamite: Red Sonja

Vertigo (I know it's a DC brand but it's not "DC"): Trillium, Coffin Hill, Sweet Tooth (catching up), Sandman (reading old series), Hinterkind, Hellblazer (reading old series)

I think there's more but I'm just drawing blanks right now

I liked the old cartoon and movies, never the older comics. I liked them, but wouldn't say I was a "fan". This IDW run though is something special.
