Well he can go through the sun. I thought it was more the making it through the sun alive part that we were talking about here not the whole flying part.
Why can't he? Please explain. He's completely invulnerable. Meaning he can't be harmed. He doesn't require oxygen to survive. Sounds to me like he can do this.
The sun's temperature doesn't harm Thor at all. You also have to take into consideration other factors such as Kelvin which produces 15.6 million Kelvin and over 380 billion billion megawatts of nuclear reactions going off and 5,000,000 tons of energy being produced in the form of Gamma Rays every second. The Sun's core also exerts an atmospheric pressure that would be 250 billion times that of Earth:

Well he can the thing is....he needs to fly. I think classic used to be able to walk on air or maybe that was 8th day or when he knew magic in the crimson dimension.

Ghost Rider would have some trouble flying, and if I remember correctly, every time Johnny Storm is in space he has a suit on. He wouldn't survive the sun excursion, and the heat has nothing to do with it.
I'm gonna add Vision to this list. Can he phase through the entire sun? Obviously he doesn't need to breathe.
Guys.... There is no gravity in space .... Everyone can fly in space! (with a good enough frog kick anyway) Time would be an issue tho. You need ones that can't grow old or have super speed or else they'd never make it.

The reason I know so much about the sun is because I research quantum physics(and you have to have a basic understanding of physics, like the sun, in order to even grasp the princples, not math, of quantum mechanics.
Thor, Silver Surfer, and Gladiator have. You need extreme durability to pressure, and energy/heat and you need extreme speed, especially acceleration to go through it. So a character like Magma can't. Even a character like Sentry started to experience pain and injury hovering near the sun, but maybe if he built up some speed. X-Man at Shaman levels probably could.
Gladiator did stomp him in that fight, yet the writer would have you believe that Hyperion and Gladiator are equals but Hyperion won because he's the "better fighter"..yea effin right!

I'm sure Juggernaut wouldn't stop and some of the other super super strong ones could push off of whatever their starting point was with enough energy to make it pretty far. There's no friction slowing them down until they hit so if Hulk were to jump really really hard he could do it just like anyone else. (yes I mean if he counted here) Hulk is just used as an example because he possibly jumps with greater thrust power than most flyers have during flight.
