What is the worst comic you've ever read?
Tittle says all.
""SIEGE - Spider-man". "
You no like?
" @InnerVenom123 said:The book itself was crap. But, also, it was advertised as the start of a new Venom. Which was a blatant lie. And it had Ms. Marvel, the living power battery, unable to break out of the symbiote... due to a lack of energy....""SIEGE - Spider-man". "You no like? "
Then they ripped off The Spectacular Spider-man cartoon with that "Oh, because of Venom bonding to someone, a crush hint is given to the fans" (Ala, Ms. Marvel learning Peter likes her from the symbiote).
Overall it was just stupid. Horrible.

I see Spider-man SIEGE as a botched hint to a new Venom host in the works. And I also see it as Mac's final issue of fail as Venom.
Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal is the only thing that comes to my mind as the worst comic book I have ever read.
In no order:
Ultimates 3 (WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY ULTIMATES, LOEB?!?!?!)
Secret Invasion: Front Line (boredom put to paper)
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (pure trash)
Annihilation: Conquest (on it's own, it's okay. But compared to Annihilation? Crap)
The Siege
Most of the Dark Reign: the List oneshots
War of Kings (just.... not good)
NYX: No Way Home (bad, especially when compared to the first NYX title)
One More Day / Brand New Day (... do I need to explain?)
Ultimate X-Men (the last 30 issues, anyway. The first 70 were actually good)
X-Men: Curse of the Mutants
Hulk (I stopped reading after the incident with Thor)
Avengers (crappy art, bad writing, etc.)

How was Siege bad? What incident with Thor?
Dr. Strange Into Shamballa.
That was horrific, at least with most other things listed here something actually happens, in Dr. Strange Enter Shamballa nothing happens it is basically just a series of okay"ish" water colour drawings of Dr. Strange and a load of four armed asian statues. Nothing happens, just stay away far away, the only reason I've kept it is because I have every Dr. Strange oneshot and miniseries as well as every issue in his own series (excluding the original strange tales issues).

" @fesak said:THIS!" Anything by Loeb, especially his Wolverine arc. "*cough* Hush *cough* I'd say it's his Marvel titles that are the problem. "

SIEGE was bad because after reading Dark Reign for a great amount of time, there was excitement as to how Norman Osborn reign was going down.
Much like Bendis's writing, he only focused on one goal with SIEGE, destroy Asgard and move onto the Heroic Age. Everything else that supported that idea was just literally pulled out of his ass and was completely random.
A storyline that was quickly rushed aside for the Heroic Age, had several oppurtunities to be presented much better than what it was published, horrible character involvement and support (strongly looking at Sentry), predictable and uncalled for deaths of minor heroes and villains, unexplained events, and it all ended with Luke Cage saying "well, it had to be done".
oh, and a farewell to our molested Superman rip-off junkie known as Sentry, at least Marvel was kind enough to reveal that he banged Rogue within a pointless and completely boring issue that only showed his funeral.

I thought Mandrill did pretty well during the event, even though I only saw him jumping off of something in one panel.
""SIEGE - Spider-man". "
Wait I thought the worst comic you ever read was Spider-man: the Hunger? :P
Raiders of The Lost ark, one of the greatest movies ever made, made into an absolutely horrible comic. I couldn't even bare to read issue 2 and 3 because the first one was so bad.
" @InnerVenom123 said:SIEGE - Spider-man topped it.""SIEGE - Spider-man". "Wait I thought the worst comic you ever read was Spider-man: the Hunger? :P "
Batman: Cacophony.
Thankfully, I haven't read anything of Marvel after Secret Invasion. First My favorite heroes are criminals, then, they're replaced with skrull impersonators, then, norman osborn is the head of the government. Once I read that, I literally threw my book in the air and shouted "THAT'S IT, I'M DONE!" No joke.

The Dr. Fate issues where they beat Darkseid through the power of love. That was just the most ridiculous thing I'd ever seen. I had to read the page twice to convince myself that's what they were actually doing. The artwork was also terrible and cartoony. If any appearance of DS deserved to be retconned, it was that one (and thankfully, it was).
The issues of Guardians of the Galaxy involving Protege (I think mainly 48-50 or something like that). The core idea of Protege wasn't bad, they just took it to an absolutely absurd extreme when he surpassed the friggin' Living Tribunal. Then there's Scathan, who is that terrible as a core idea.
Our Worlds at War, while not migraine inducing, was only mediocre at its best parts, which were few. The basic idea, again, was just hackneyed rubbish from the start, and the writing and plotting just wasn't good enough to make it interesting. And of course, Superman saves the day via Deus ex Machina.
Final Crisis might be the worst "good" comic I can recall reading, if that makes sense to anyone. Good production values, decent writing, lots of good elements for an epic story, but Morrison just went way overboard with the craziness and symbolism, such that in the end, it had basically left all semblance of sense and realism far behind. And the ending, again, was Superman wining via a nearly literal Deus ex Machina.
Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't like CoIE much either. Part of it was probably that I didn't really know the history of the DCU, and that Qward was an established part of it, because I think I spent about half of it wanting to scream at the author "Antimatter doesn't work that way!" and "Antimatter isn't evil!" (that second part I still think is pretty asinine; as if the "positive" universe is actually universally "good"; yeah, that's why Darkseid is considered an "essential" part of it). Even aside from that though, it just felt way too much like a product of its time.
That does remind me though, that it was significantly better than Secret Wars II, which basically took what little was good about Secret Wars I, and totally crapped all over it.
by far the worst thing I've read my 20+ years reading comics XD
Specifically Uncanny X-men #528
"Have I commented on this and said Siege?
If so, who cares, I'll say it again.
SIEGE
"
I'm beginning to think you weren't a fan of Siege.
Just a hunch. :)
