In your own personal opinion, what is the most shocking or wtf ending to any comic,anime,manga,movie,tv show, etc.?

idk everything u listed i would count as GOOD endings you know? but i kinda expected good endings not really shocks or wtf for me

@dratini1331: I suppose. Although the ending to DN was sh%t and Light should not have gone down like that. It was expected that he would lose. Audience needed catharsis and he needed to get what was coming to him. Just not like that...

Blood-C had a WTF ending and at the time also a shocking ending.

Data's death at the end of Nemesis and his "substitution" by B4 was unexpected...and garbage.

Also, though I wasn't a fan of the show, the end of The Sopranos was the same, supposedly.

If anyone has seen the anime "Phantom:Requiem for the phantom" then you know how this takes the cake for the most random wtf ending in anime history, like bro I'm still mad such a good series ended that way.

Death Note: Light got so far, and accomplished so much, only to get outsmarted by two arrogant little kids.

Mass Effect 3: Completely stupid and made no sense at all.

Phantom's ending is like death note's ending x100. They are very similar.

The bad ending for Far Cry 3, was sooo..... Awful and wtf at the same time.

TELEVISION: The ending to Quantum Leap.

FILM: The Dungeons & Dragons movie with Snail's resurrection for the WTF . . . The dream at the end of Carrie for the shock.

COMIC BOOK: TIE: The final issue of Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) when she had a sorcerer remove the memory of her existence from every person on Earth, with the author's clear intention that Spider-Woman should not be referenced in any flashback ever . . . The end of the Civil War mini-series, when it turned out that Tony Stark was not shunned for life by everyone with a soul.
