Is thor's hammer really magic or is it just extremely advanced technology?

Superman has always been vulnerable to magic but what is magic? couldn't all magic users just be using highly advanced science?

Someone TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

@neonpheonix: magic is considered to be what can't be explained with science. Example: the Gray Man collects dream essence from people, basically a job given by the lords of order in the old DC universe. Or simply dr. Strange's house being visible only to people he allows the ability to see.

Depends on the writer.

Some writers take magic as advanced science, while others say magic is what science can't explain.

From my understanding, it's a utilization of internal or external energies to shape and influence the world around you, essentially a form of "mind over matter" that could be viewed as a combination of magic and pseudo-science.

@princearagorn1:

so superman could potentially beat magic users depending on how the writer defines magic

You can explain magic with science. Saying magic can't be explained is bullshit.Any other form of energy or whatever can.Why not magic?

@jonny_anonymous: Nope you can explain it.

Example:Gravitation is exerting a gravitational or magnetic force on an object to manipulate it within a vicinity

@jonny_anonymous: Wait,I meant levitation.No,it doesn't have to be gravity or magnetism.It can be magic like how a unicorn uses it.

Another example is teleportation.It's to energize or propel an object a certain distance so fast to give off the illusion of disappearing or creating a wormhole through rips within time..
