I always thought GL but I'm not sure...
What is DC's silver surfer?
@crazyscarecrow: I see him as DC's vastly under utilized Thor
@sog7dc: How you feel about Captain Atom
@homicidalmaniac: I like him. But...idk I guess yeah. I feel like Hal Jordan is more comparable though
@sog7dc: I would maybe think some sort of Lantern that's a good or neutral guy
I wouldn't say Hal Jordan and I DEFINITELY wouldn't say Orion....I don't know,though. Suggestions for DC's space universe? Besides the Lanterns,I feel DC doesn't really have much of a diverse space world (although,not saying they are NOT diverse because of 3 words: Green Lantern Corps)
@crazyscarecrow: I think Orion is the Thor of DC. and he's one f my favorites and i was hoping Dc would announce a new gods title at nycc
@sog7dc: I just posted those images because that is what gave that train of thought. I always thought of Wonder Woman to be more of the Thor of the DCU. Both a super powerful and have great ties to the myths they are based off of. A New Gods title would be cool, but I think DC wants Orion to spend more time with Wonder Woman and Big Barda/Mr. Miracle on Earth 2.
@crazyscarecrow: They can do both though. Batman has 5 books that all take place at the same time Orion could too. Plus the new gods are interdimensional. So they could have one new gods title in the main dc earth and have new gods featured
In earth 2
Personality and story background, Orion.
Ability/power set, Captain Atom. (And appearance sorta too)
@crazyscarecrow: @smashbrawler: who's that?
(sorry guys i don't really read any DC[like at all])
Their really is no DC equivalent of Surfer.
If I had to choose, It'd be a combination of Martian Manhunter, Captain Atom, Black Racer.
Metron, he was a scientist of alien world who was bonded with power source which gave him a transport vehicle and made him an ultimate Neutral Force of cosmic balance, plus this:
DC literally made him their "Silver Surfer"
