Is it feat that it is inconsistent with the rest. For example, Cpt America lifting an aircraft carrier.
What is an "outlier" feat?
Yes. Usually a feat that contradicts numerous others (usually all within the same ballpark) and most of the time only happened once.

He was asking for confirmation that what he thought it was was correct, he did not answer but was asking and giving an example of what he thought it was.

@blackwind: this so much.
As others have said, it's a feat that is inconsistent with the character's normal showings or described powerset. If Flash is consistently traveling at mach speeds and takes down multiple enemies in the span of a second, then suddenly OUT OF NOWHERE a snail slowly slithers up and kills the Flash before he can react, that is an outlier low showing.
Outliers most commonly are the product of WIS as the writer simply doesn't understand the scale of the feat in question. For example if a character previously struggled to bust a mountain and most of his attacks are only city block level at best and he suddenly vaporizes the Moon, that would be an outlier because the Moon is monumentally beyond the scope of his best feat and all his consistent feats prior.
Yes.
Does this apply shounen characters?
It applies to any character from any media.

Basically extreme high or low end feats that make no sense for the character.
This two feats. Apparently MCU Iron-Man is star level and MCU Hulk is planetary striking by this feats.

Really helping your case there by showing that shot. Anyone can see that Thanos was using a stone just by watching the movie. See that purple rock? See that purple energy that repulsor beams are hitting? If anything, the power stone is responsible for what you circled.
Basically a feat that is so far outside of the character's usual abilities that it is contradicted by his/her past feats.
E.g. Captain America lifting an aircraft carrier when he struggled to lift a car in the past.
But on Vine, people mostly use it to label any feats they don't like.
@rebake: Yes they did hit the IG. Stop making headcanon
