What if there was a Birds of Prey movie?

Would you watch it? who would you cast if the movie ever came into existence?

I would watch it and I would want Gail Simone to be a writer and also producer for the movie. I think Melissa Rosenberg could do something special with the movie in regards to being the director but if DC managed to get Michelle MacLaren back then that would be pretty cool as well.

In terms of casting that would be much more broader and based on dream casting more than anything but I prefer newer and upcoming actors for the movie.

@moul: Black Canary and Huntress. Zinda Blake as their pilot (no time traveling part; make her a legacy character instead). Of course, Oracle should be in the movie too.

The Birds of Prey should stay street level, so no Dove or Huntress. No Katana and no Poison Ivy.

@kairan1979: What about Vixen, Catwoman and Batgirl?

I don`t think it matters all too much but the original and originating members would be cool :)

Maybe Catwoman or Batgirl as a way to make the Bat-fans to watch the movie, but the only Batgirl I'll accept is Cassandra Cain.
