First two seasons fantastic. Third season a load of crap. Opening episode of season 4 also poor.

Anyone share my thoughts? If so, what do you think has caused this?

Personally I preferred it when it was just Ollie, Felicity and Diggle working as a team. Not half baked heroes like Laurel and Thea taking up valuable screen time.

I think it's because of The Legends Of Tomorrow 'movie' and budget cuts.

The good writers left Arrow for Flash, more actors to pay meaning less budget to hire better directors.

@falcolylat: The people that make Arrow also make Flash and Supergirl so they had there attention split during season 3. Now for season 4 they have a new show runner.

The premier for season 4 was awesome, don't know what you're talking about. Clear return to quality after season 3.

@falcolylat:

I like to wait and watch whole seasons at once, Just got around to watching Arrow season 3 (In fact I have not quite finished it yet) And I honestly thought the same thing, Its OK, but it certainly has not griped me like the first two seasons.
