What has been your favorite movie of 2013 so far.

With this year coming to an end and with so many great movies released this year, what was your favorite? Why? And what 2014 movie are you looking forward to seeing?

This Is The End because I don't think I've seen any other new movies this year.

Still Man of Steel.

Worth revisiting after I see The Hobbit.

The World's End and Gravity.

Comic book films have taken a step back this year.

MoS only because the day I watched it was just amazing.

Ironman 3 and Thor 2 were alright.

Frozen and Man of Steel.

Man of Steel and Catching Fire. MOS was a great change from all of the Marvel movies of late and it was nice to Superman back on screen. And Catching Fire was just amazing! So much bigger and better than the original Hunger Games but still stuck on the book!

Man of Steel and Frozen. I haven't watched Catching Fire, but the book is spectacular, one of my favorites.

The Place Beyond the Pines by a mile.

12 Years a Slave, The Wolverine, and MOS were the other three I loved though.

Agreed! I didn't like the first movie all that much. Thought it was about average. 2nd movie was pretty good though! (Hunger games)

Gravity, Catching Fire, 12 Years a Slave, Prisoners, The Lone Ranger and The World's End (Looking forward to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug this friday!).

Agreed. There were no AMAZING superhero movies this year. Just good ones, 'meh' ones and terrible ones.

I'm looking forward to Godzilla, Guardians of the Galaxy, Days of Future Past, Transcendence, Captain America: The Winter Solider, Big Eyes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!

I still want to see Pacific Rim.

@silverpool: Agreed on The Place Beyond the Pines. I still need to see a bunch of movies, though, like 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle.

Its good :) Not amazing like Wreck-It-Ralph and Tangled, but another solid Disney flick!

Gravity was alright, but not my fav. Everything else has been mediocre.

Man of Steel has been my favorite this year. Although, that might change after I see the Hobbit.

The only movie I have seen that I think was from this year is Iron Man 3 so i guess that is the best I have seen however I would rather say it is the worst I have seen this year.

This, so far I loved Gravity, Star Trek and Frozen but DoS will change that hopefully and yeah comic book movies this year have been average, hopefully 2014 will change that.

I'm excited for Godzilla, Transcendence, Interstellar, 22 Jump Street, Winter Soldier, ASM 2, Jupiter Ascending, Edge of Tomorrow, Hobbit : T&BA, HTTYD 2, Robocop.
