What game do you feel is completely overrated?

After watching scoop on ign and them talking a bout games that these feel are overrated I wanted o do I here sense I haven't seen suc a thread so what game do you feel is overrated?

God of war and call of duty

Batman Arkham series, totally overrated.

ITT: People hate on popular games.

Although to be honest, I think to a certain degree almost everything that is massively popular is overrated to a degree - these things hit a critical mass and then the bandwagon effect kicks in. Not just games, but everything - movies, literature, food, you name it. So naming names doesn't really do much for me.

i think uncharted 3 is overrated i mean i loved the game but ign gave it a 10 while the second one was the superior game!

Asura's Wrath

Halo 4...terrible game

I'd have to say Bioshock, the first one. And any old games people talk about loving that they haven't played in over a decade.

Call of Duty

1. GTA IV (Boring as a banana)
2. Call Of Duty series (Same thing over and over and over again.)
3. Saints Row 2 (No way in hell it is better than SRTT or SRIV)

I'm gonna play Bioshock Infinite in 3 days...hope it worth the hype also.

Halo. I tried it and was unimpressed with both single player and online.

GTA IV isnt as fun as its predecessors but on its own i think GTA IV was an amazing game.

So is Pokemon,Halo,Battlefield,God of War,Gears of War,and pretty much everything else with a sequel.

You cant really judge it on SRIV yet cause its not out but SRTT is better. (Although Co-oP was funner on SR2)

I tried playing Bioshock infinite, IMO Terrible gameplay,amazing story. I wouldn't recommend buying it as once you beat it you will never play it again.

Not even out yet and i can already tell you : Half Life 3 is overrated.

Call of Duty is way overrated along with Halo's more recent games.

I was expecting something like GTA: San Andreas, that's why I'm disappointed with the game.

I never liked Gears Of War, Halo, Pokemon or Battlefield that much. (Just God Of War, because..storyline :P.) I try to buy games that have a really good storyline or gameplay, since games here are around R$150 and, IMO, CoD storyline sucks, and the gameplay isn't that good, but I have to admit that COD: Black Ops II Zombie Mode is better than I thought.

I heard a lot of things about Bioshock Infinite, but, I hope you're right. Epic story>>Epic gameplay. ^^

To me the game actually looks pretty good. Though what I dislike about it is that Batman pulls out random PIS items from his utility belt and KOs like 10 of his villains with ease along with their goons.

God of War and Gears of war have been the same repetitive unimpressive games for a while now. The both games in both series deserve a lot of credit for pretty much reworking genres though

Try local multiplayer. It's the best shooting game to have fun on local multiplayer imo.

@the_lunact_and_manic: i loved that game the vigors aren't as good in my opinon as the plasmids but i had a fun time playing it and it's definitely the best story you will ever get in fps

It's kinda of shallow reason to call GTA overrated. Don't get me wrong, I thought GTA IV was boring piece of s***, but graphics are least of the problems.

COD. I hate all those games. It's so generic, mindless, and uncomplicated in every way. It's a shame it robs so many people of $60-$120 every single year and people don't realize it.

I don't think much of anything is overrated. Just because a lot of pepole like something and you don't doesn't make it overrated

The last of us. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game. But totally overrated.

• Injustice: Gods Among Us - The game just sucks.
• Call of Duty 2 - I've heard amazing things about the CoD franchise, so I played this game. It wasn't bad, but it's not worth the hype.
• Ultimate Spider-Man - I really liked it, but it doesn't deserve to be called one of the greatest superhero games of all time.
• Batman: Dark Tomorrow - I know the game is hated by all. But they don't even begin to describe how awful it truly is.
• All Mortal Kombat games - They're okay, but I don't see what's so special about them.

And wow. Out of five games I've listed, 3 of them were comic related. I really need to play more games.

Id have to say games that I find overrated are every COD game except for COD 4-MW2 everything else isn't that good also grand theft auto 4 decently the weakest in the GTA series borderlands cause it looks like another generic shooter
