I don't read league books either, but here's a simplified Wikipedia summery:

Trinity war is an eleven issue comicbook series that will crossover to several other titles including JLA, and Justice League dark.

It's an action mystery that sees Justice League, JLA, and Justice League Dark clash.

In fact, it's a 6 issue event that ties the 3 Justice League book in a War because of the death of one character... AND it will have some tie in issues in Constante and Pandora's books

When I first heard of it, I thought it was Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman all clashing with one another. You know, the DC Trinity. Trinity War.

A little disappointed when I heard what it really is, probably will pass on this one....
