What theme, idea, event, or people do you want to see represented in comics the most?

#2 Posted by Pperspectiveandreality (1922 posts) - - Show Bio

nobody?

I would want Batwing to become a more important character in the overall Bat Family. I mean his father is in direct communication with Batman.

More character progression. For Instance I wished Dick Grayson stayed as Batman. I still say it's bullshit Bruce Wayne came back. It made perfect sense for his character and DC ruined it.

Obaaamaaa and Captain America meeting

And more Blink and Bring back Wasp

More Helspont,Darkseid with the new/old gods more established and...right now that's it.

I'd also like to to see a Batman Beyond series that isn't liked to the cartoon. They should just redo it with a clean slate.

While I do like Dick as Batman a lot and wish his tenure was longer, Bruce's return was important to Morrison's Batman thematically. DC didn't ruin in, as far as I can tell it was Morrison's decision.

The only real mistake was making him Nightwing again.

Elitism and sexist to stop in comics, comic industry and fans.

#15 Edited by Pperspectiveandreality (1922 posts) - - Show Bio

@lyrafay: What do you mean by elitism?

Villains winning more often

A Lobo and Spawn crossover with tons of violence

Permanent death/ major changes. Changes don't even shock us anymore since it's more so guessing how long before it returns to the status quo.

Most of my other wants are usually covered well by indie comics.

I want to see at least one arc where DC stops holding Superman back, stops turning him into a plot advancing villain, and where he doesnt rely on Batman. Just one arc what get me through another few crappy years of comics.

On and off, ive felt like they were heading towards this with Helspont, but I wont hold my breath.

I would enjoy a new 52 superman arc where batman is absent

DC could do more with Captain Marvel.

#28 Posted by ShadowX (1218 posts) - - Show Bio

More of the Mystique/Nightcrawler/Rogue family. Bring back destin and Nocturne.

Do more with LGBT characters. Create more lgbt characters.

Bring back runaways as a series and perhaps retcon avengers undercover/avengers arena.

Have the first major story arc be busting Xavin out of space prison.

I want to see comic books subtly but deeply comment of societal issues while giving us good action and stories.

#30 Posted by LyraFay (2527 posts) - - Show Bio

@pperspectiveandreality: Basically when veteran comic readers basically tell people that they can't read that comic because they won't get or they need "years of experience to understand," it. Or when they point out someone whose wearing a merchandise t-shirt and claiming they aren't a fan (this happens to particularly to girls a lot.) As well comic book readers saying they know better than the comic book company or the movie studio.

Maul kicking Dooku's ass!

..won't happen though, since Jeremy Barlow appears to know very little about Maul, and is now taking on the writing of his most important Story Arc since his revival.

I don't know if this would count, but I would love to see a new Marvel/DC crossover. A lot has changed since Marvel NOW and The New 52 started their (semi)-reboots. Doubt it will happen any time soon though.

Maybe a mini-series about Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan in The New 52?
