After Marvel removed Anti-venom they put Eddie Brock with the symbiote Toxin, and made him an

anti-hero / villian in the venom comic book.

I have been reading the comic book for quite a while, but i feel that Marvel has a purpose for the Eddie Brock and Toxin alliance, and then they will remove them .

and, to be honest, I feel that Marvel didn't made the combination interesting just like they did with

anti-venom, instead they made it a more gloomy combination.

But I want to know what do you think about this combination.

QFMFT

No one actually cares about Pat Mulligan this much. It's like being outraged that Carol is Captain Marvel.

Don't really care what they do with Eddie.

@theacidskull: It sounds like a grear idea but for Toxin to want to kill for absolute no reason and to make it seem like a sensless killing machine is not what i like

@innervenom123: Thats your opinion. I loved Pat Mulligan as a character.

I never said he didn't. Whether he does or doesn't is up to you.

I just said that no one cares about Pat.

Even if they think they do.

No you didn't. You loved his interaction with Toxin. Pat himself is boring.

Speaking of things you didn't do, you probably didn't read Bunn's Venom.

@innervenom123: Yes i love the interaction between the Pat and Toxin. The bond and complications they had. I loved Toxin because of them both and when you take away half of that then its your taking half the chracater that Toxin was. Secondly, yes i did read Bunns Venom til the very end. They introduced Brock as Toxin so badly by having Toxin have no means to want to kill. And they killed a chracter off panel which is disgraceful to any comicbook character. Yes, i understand Brock as Toxin and his reasons but personally i love the original Toxin.

I like keeping him separate from the Venom symbiote because I love me some Agent Venom with Flash. However, I thought they were going the route of making Brock a sort of "Van Helsing for symbiotes" or something after they took away the Anti-Venom suit. I think that would've been much cooler than just making him Toxin (or Anti-Venom for that matter).

Eddie Brock is the best villain Spidey has and that he will ever have but I only liked him as Venom and Anti-Venom.Putting the Toxin symbiote on him was one of the biggest problems I had with the Venom series.

Why do you say that?

I enjoyed him and miss him

@innervenom123: True, Thats debatable but hes definetly Top 3.

What's debatable is Venom as a concept, not Eddie as a character.

I meant the concept of him as Venom. The other hosts of Venom have never lived up to Eddie's Venom.
