What do you think?

I think it sounds lame.

It makes it really hard for me to watch the Nolan trilogy.

Not NEARLY as bad as people make it out to be.

Would've liked more subtlety to it but it doesn't bother me.

I don't mind it. But i won't pass up a chance to bag on it.

Do not question the Bat.

You made this thread twice.

@deathpoolthet1000: and this was the thread that was made first, and just cause there is a duplicate doesn't make this a troll thread, you are really looking hard for places to post that troll pic

so, this is still the original thread, the other one that someone already flagged would be the troll thread

Wait, so it's a voice...that causes cancer?

That's stupid.

It's kinda annoying, but from what I gathered it's what the directors wanted, not Bale's choice.

#15 Posted by i_dont_like_comics (770 posts) - - Show Bio

dumb, but compared to how 'garfieldman' talks to 'harry green' doing nothing to change it a little, it's genius.

The only time it annoyed me was in DKR.

Realistically it makes a lot of sense. The voice itself is suppose to do two major things, 1.) better help hide Bruce's identity as Batman and 2.) come off more demonic, animal-like and terrifying. Both of which I think the voice did very well actually.

#18 Posted by MUFC (415 posts) - - Show Bio

to me that sound was great.

#19 Edited by TheComedian_ (268 posts) - - Show Bio

The movies were trying to be realistic. Bruce is kind of a celebrity in Gotham so I think it makes sense for him to do his um..."cancer voice."

Bruce Wayne more of a public speaker than other heroes so someone would have recognised his voice if he hadn't exaggerated it so much.

If I was a well know public face I would disguise my voice as well.

He should have done the whole bit in a West Country accent.

There's quite a few refrences dating back to the early ninties and late seventies concerning his growling, gritty hoarse voice when in costume.

Guess brought to life, people don't seem to like it.
