Tell me what you guys think:
What Disney Animated film Should Get a Live Action Adaptation?
@bee14ish: Seriously..wtf...
Anyway, I think, probably Pocahontas, BUT ACTUALLY HISTORICALLY ACCURATE!
Or Hunchback of Notre Dame.
None.
I dont see the reason to do this actually.
All their movies had being made billions of times, several in live action.
The Little Mermaid could be cool and unique what with the underwater scenes.
Fantasia redone would be awesome, particularly Night on Bald Mountain.
My first choice would be The Black Cauldron. It wasn't a very good movie to begin with, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Plus, with the Tolkien stuff now over and Game of Thrones still hot but confined to TV, there's cinematic room for another classic swords and sorcery feature. Other similar action oriented movies that would benefit from a live-action treatment are Treasure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
After that, I think Lilo and Stitch would probably make the easiest transition to live-action of the films with memorable songs.
THE JUNGLE BOOK
You know they are already making one of those, right? Directed by IronMan's Jon Favreau no less. [Cinemablend]
None. There's already too many. It just takes away from the original animated classics. Winnie the Pooh come on! Hopefully the day never comes when Pinocchio gets the live action treatment since that movie is still a masterpiece to this day thanks to it's extreme dark themes that can't be done in live action today because of their brutality.
@penguindust: I had no clue. That's f#cking awesome!
@perethorn: no. Just no.
@pinecone: Lmao, Pinocchio has already been done at least once in live action.
