What comics are best for kids wanting to reach the next step?

I have a really mature 8 year old sister shes read alot of Tiny Titans and has enjoyed them very much i recently let her read some of Mark Waid's DareDevil  and she liked it but I was wondering what you guys think  

You should ask one of your parents to read through Daredevil first a see what they think. There is a Young Justice comic for kids, its targeted for kids your sisters age, you might want to introduce that to her.

Show her Necronomicon by Alan Moore.

Darn! I was about to say Daredevil. FF and F4 are just fine as well.

Runaways is for ages 12+ (or so the rating on the back of the TPBs I got from the library claims). Maybe something like that? Maybe Ultimate Spider-Man? Um...

Thats just awful! LOL! That comic was so dirty.........why Alan Moore, why?!?!

The Marvel adventures are good for kids though it can be tough to hunt down some of it. Hell I read Marvel Adventures Avengers. I looked forward to that book.
