My list
1.Superman
2.Batman
3.Spider-man
4.The Flash
5.Green Lantern
Read somewhere that Superman is actually the 2nd most recognized fictional character in the world, trailing only Mickey Mouse, and ahead of Santa Claus.

Really? That is the most awesome thing I've read today!

1.Superman, 2. Batman 3. X-men (because of movies) 4.Hulk 5. Spiderman ....(in no order) Flash,Wonder woman , GL
Dude, did you not read the title of the thread? Hulk does not have a logo.
I say Supes is first, Bats is second (the yellow circle one is more widely used though), Spider-Man, Captain America, and Lantern!
In the comic book fan world:
1.Superman
2.Batman
3.Spider-man
4.Green Lantern
5.Flash
To the General Public:
1.Superman
2.Spider-man(simply due to all the films that have come out)
3.Batman
4.Captain America(Again thanks to the movies)
5.Punisher(Yet again thanks to the movies and that skull thing isn't easily forgotten)
@twenty five.... Yes Hulk does have a logo! He has a logo on the cover of his book and on his movie! A logo doesn't have to be on their costume ! His logo is the word Hulk with lonrs for cracks drawn in the lettering. If you don't count that then you'd better not count Spider-man since his is just lettering over a web.
I would have to say DC's big 5. Marvel doesn't have very many distinct logos. Spider-Man's is just a spider and Cap's is just a star. Of course, there are Daredevil and Punisher, which are very distinct, but probably not as widely recognizeable as the DC logos. Possibly Punisher would be more recognizable than Flash.

Forgive my blindness I misread what you said lol. I will now proceed to have my eyes tested!
1. Superman 2. Batman 3. Spider-man 4. Captain America I'm sure the general public would recognize Punisher, Green Lantern, and Flash logos and might know it has something to do with comics, but I don't think they'd know which character it goes with. People saying Wonder Woman or Daredevil have lost their minds.

You guys are forgetting Daredevil. He's not very popular, but his logo is pretty recognizable.
I didn't know he had a logo.
I'm going to say "no" to this one.@ExtraLarge said:

DC has t-shirts with the JLA's individual memers' logos on them, and people generally recognize the logos.
It's impossible to pick 5. Some logos are just as recognizable as the other. Like what are the odds more people know what the Superman Logo is than the Batman logo? Most superheroes who even have a logo have really straight forward ones and you'd know what it's supposed to be on sight.
I think I'd go with
I think that Green Lantern is more recognizable than the "W," but more people know Wonder Woman and I'm judging on holding up a flashcard and saying "Name that hero" rather than say, spotting a logo on someone's shirt in the subway.
Its not that Superman is the 2nd most recognizable fictional character.
The actual FACT is 'The Superman symbol the the 2nd most recognizable logo'.
The 1st is the Christian Cross
FACT
