What are Spider-mans power limits?

I've been wondering this for a while, It's been said that he's a 10 tonner others say 25 tons. But he was able to hold up the daily bugle which he would probably need to be able to hold 125 tons to do so. So my question is, what is his true power level?

He, like most comic heroes, vary throughout his history.

Moreover, Spider-Man (Peter) is a very compassionate person and naturally holds back his strength most of the time. He also has demonstrated the ability to "get stronger" in times of duress and rise to the occasion with proper motivation.

@proto3296: Ultimately it varies 10 tons is what he can lift without exerting himself, bases strength if you will. If pushed to his limits he's most likely around 50-60ton level.

Ten tons under normal circumstances. Under extreme circumstances, pushing himself to his limit he can hit maybe 40 tons~
