@emequious_swerve: I always thought Gosling would play a great luthor if he was 10ish years older. He can play both cold and menacing, and charismatic and classy. He also has the slender face I associate luthor with.

I just said that because the other actors have connections to the character, Ryan Gosling just seemed kind of random.

I remember being so confused when I saw the cop from Law and Order trying to take on Faora in a knife fight.

@havenless: I'm pretty sure I saw a fancast with that guy as Lex, probably before MOS came out. So that's interesting, he must have Lex features.

Yeah that's true. Although at this point Mark Strong also doesn't really have a connection to the character besides being rumored for the role months back.

Mark Strong and Rosenbaum are eerily present there.

Hey, it's the best morphing a free online website can get you. If you ignore the ears, neck/shoulders and top of the head(which are the least important parts) its not that bad.

We've already seen this live-action version/animated version of him so many times. Reinvent and refresh adds new life to the character.

I think it might be from JL, not STAS, so its the same look, but a little bit different animation style.

Look at these photos and don't tell me that you don't see a little bit of a young Lex in Jesse Eisenberg

@jphu8414: Im not an Eisenberg hater. Im definitely a little disappointed, especially after teasing us with Denzel Washington, Matthew Goode, and especially Joaquin Pheonix, who would kill it as Lex. I also fear about his voice and how intimidating he can be. But as far as his face, if he shaves his head, he could definitely have the look.

@elayem98: Definitely some fair points you brought up. His voice is not intimidating at all but I can definitely see him pulling off the really smug, arrogant, and cocky part of Lex

That's exactly how Eisenberg's Luthor will act towards Superman, a lot of people hate the casting because they want the same old Lex in every movie. At least in MoS2 Luthor will be modern and something different, there's not a doubt in my mind that Eisenberg could ruin this movie.

Billy zane should be playing lex. There is not better choice.
