Bumping this because I heard an interesting theory that they're covered with eyes that will be animated with CGI, and that Enchantress did it to them. It fits well with the way her character looks. It would be a horrifyingly awesome way to introduce her, since we haven't seen her in any of the leaks yet.
Basically what he said. I read a theory that these are most likely the result of something Enchantress did. That makes the most sense.
