Watch the First Full 'Jurassic World' Trailer

For years, many of us have been wondering what the next Jurassic Parkmovie would be all about. Why build another park? What will happen to make it turn into a frightening spot that'll have humans running for their lives? Well, today the speculation comes to an end and the first officially trailer for Jurassic World shows what goes wrong in the new park!

So, Chris Pratt is basically a new version of Robert Muldoon? Will they force him to exclaim, "shoot her!" at some point and make him pull up his socks? One can only hope so. "I like Jurassic Park and I'm glad you posted this, but aren't we on Comic Vine?" Well, there have been a couple of Jurassic Park comics before. Topps and IDW produced some, so now we're wondering if this new movie will bring about a new comic. Even if it's just a limited series, the world could certainly use a good Jurassic Park comic, right?

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow and scheduled to open June 12, 2015. What did you think of the trailer?

Star Lord vs Super Dino

I'm liking the whole amusement park thing they got going on. Looks like it's Rise of the Planet of the Dinosaurs though

I'm so excited. I always thought that having the Park open for business should be in one of the sequels!

Hopefully it won't pull a Godzilla (2014) and only show us the hybrid dinosaur for 10 minutes.

Nothing beats the excitement that the original Jurassic Park trailer created, but I'm still looking forward to this.

We loved to see a talking Dino in the GOTG sequel.

I hope the kid from Iron Man 3 gets eaten alive as recompense for Iron Man 3.

I can already see the plot for the sequel to this. Super-Dino gave birth to at least 3-6 super baby dinos before she died and they've matured and are now causing trouble.

This looks interesting, which surprises me. Probably turn out to be a decent popcorn movie. Can't have the impact of the first one for me, but for will be good for youngsters.

Was it me or did the dinosaurs in the original Jurassic Park look at a lot more realistic than the ones seen in this trailer? I'm not trying to compare or say one if better than the other, but the original came out in 1993 and this one in 2015, and it would be sad if the CGI from the '93 film holds up better than the CGI in the 2015 movie.

Aside from that the movie looks interesting, not sure how I feel about a "genetically created dino," but my interest has been piqued.

I'm probably one of the few, but I actually didn't mind the kid in IM3. Though when I first saw him in this trailer, my first reaction was "oh hey, it's the kid from Iron Man 3." lol

@war_killer: Funny but I was thinking the same thing about the dinosaurs, even though I'm expecting them to be better in the film, they don't look it in this trailer to me for some reason.

I don't know. It was actually really nice just to see a fully functioning Jurassic Park without all the running and screaming.

Man, the CGI looked quite bad. Especially when the Liupleurodon came out of the water. I hope it gets a bit more polish until it's released.

Speaking of hopes. Those are pretty low, after the "hyper intelligent hybrid" plot reveal. I mean, really? A hybrid dinosaur? Prepare for more "give her the eggs" scenes folks... But seriously, to me this is a classic case of "you had one job". And that job was to make a movie with dinosaurs. Actual dinosaurs....

I'm not watching this unless all the children get eaten.

Time to rewatch Jurassic Park. I'll go see this for the dinosaurs.

@viin: @war_killer: Well to be fair the dinos in every film have been genetically altered. Remember that's why they were able to reproduce in the original film also in real life velociraptors were the size of turkeys

It seems very "now" as in it looks like it's been sanitized with in an inch of it's life "for the kids."

It amuses me to see Chris Pratt attempt to be a bad ass action hero lol

I'm pretty excited for this. A lot due to the fact that it was filmed in Kaua'i where I honeymooned and just went back to on vacation this summer so I love seeing the island landscape in the trailer.

Side note: I took a helicopter ride on my honeymoon in which we landed at the Jurassic Park waterfall while the theme music was playing in our headsets. I leaned over to my wife and told her that was the most magical moment of my life, including my wedding four days prior. . . She was not amused.

It doesn't even look that much better than the original movie from 20 years ago... though I do believe the 1993 movie was way ahead of its time in terms of CGI and rendering the dinosaurs.

Well, it's likely due to the fact that the Dinosaurs from the original film were real...well, kind of. When there was up close shots of the creatures it was always animatronics, most CGI was used when the dinosaurs were at a distance to avoid cognizance of the flaws in the CG and take the viewer out of the film. The movie should really stand as a lesson on how to incorporate CGI into a movie.

WHY do they need to come up with a HYBRID! JP is my favorite movie, perfect in every way (except for Timmy being fried on the power lines, that dude would be dead as fu...) JP Graphics look amazing and realistic!

They have a park dedicated to the coolest things that have actually existed on this planet and they feel they need to create a Hybrid? WHY!?!?

Bring in a new Dino, Bring in that the Dinos are evolving to be smarter or whatever due to the genetic testing but a brand new hybrid species that have never existed..... come on man.

They can choose from thousand/millions of different varieties of dinosaurs and they said "screw it, not cool enough"..................................WTF???

Would I be out of line by asking why this is on Comic Vine? I don't mind it or anything, it just seems odd. It's not a comic book movie, so is it just because Chris Pratt's in it? Or maybe there was some cool Jurassic Park comic I don't know about?

@master_thief: In the trailer they said they made a new Dino by mixing genetics from other ones.

How much do you want to bet the super dino is a t rex mixed with a raptor of some kind?

Also, I totally predicted him having trained raptors! I am so pumped!!!

Looks pretty good to me. I was cautiously optimistic and this delivered I think.

@war_killer: If memory serves the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and Lost World were largely animatronic (spelling?) especially in close up shots. I can o lyrics remember a handful of times they were CGI'd and they covered those up with night time scenes since it makes the CGI less obvious.

That's my only real answer though lol.
