Wally West and Donna Troy aren't gone forever (not a prank)

I was surfin' the web like a boss recently and came across a Bleeding Cool interview done with Dan Didio and  Eddie Berganza at Megacon, here Didio states, and I quote: 
 
 

Another fan asked about the Kord Industries and New Gods references in O.M.A.C. to which the panel replied was obviously intentional. There will be future references to these characters and many others. That led us to a young man that asked about Wally West, to which of course I clapped and seconded. Dan and Eddie gave an answer that is going to keep me at bay with nerd rage for a while longer. He said because there were de-aging Barry, they didnt want him to be the same age as Wally. Plus they didnt want to take away Wally’s kids and family or make him a teenager again, especially with Bart already in that role. Dan also pointed out that someone close to him is a big Donna Troy fan, and Donna was given the same treatment when Wonder Woman was made younger in the relaunch. Their answer was that they are simply focusing on establishing the characters they started out with in this new 52, but not saying those other characters don’t exist or aren’t around in some way. They understand that everyone’s character is someone’s favorite. They just ask us Wally and Donna fans to be a bit more patient with them and those characters will be seen once more.

He was the Flash that had issues with the Flash's rouges gallery. Was he the one from the future?

Saw this what feels like 2-3 months ago, I still wouldn't get my hopes up.

Yeah, I think I remember reading this a couple of months ago. I just want the two to come back, especially Wally. Honestly, age should not be an issue. I don't think anyone should care about any sort of age difference because any history between Barry and Wally has been erased, and there just isn't that mentor and protege relationship anymore. Heck, they could make him older than Barry for all I care.

What? No. Wally West is Barry Allen's nephew. He was the original Kid Flash who took over as the Flash when Barry Allen died a while back. Since Barry's recent return, Wally's been left in the dark, and when the New 52 happened, the writers just forgot about him (and if they didn't, they damn well made us think they did). The one from the future is Bart Allen. He's the current Kid Flash in the Teen Titans book.

I like Barry as the flash better than Wally... Hopefully this doesnt take the same turn as the original universe did

if they did that they would have to make Dick Robin again and that would = no Damian, Jason and Tim

Why would it mean that? Wally West has nothing to do with those characters.

Well Wally could be done easily enough, they can have a younger version of him be struck by lightning, and they don't have to worry about Bart being older than him, seeing as how he's from the future anyway.

I'm all for giving Wally a new hero identity, but he's gotta keep that million-dollar personality.

@sethysquare: To the naked eye? Sure. Although it's like comparing the abilities of invulnerable people who manipulate force fields, matter and being products of their surroundings. Zoom doesn't operate under the speed force/friction nonsense.

@Gambit1024: It'll happen. I would prefer a new power altogether. Something that fits his personality. Maybe Speedball capability without the plagiarism.

@sesquipedalophobe: Keep his superspeed and ties tp the speed force, but give him another power. Nothing too drastic, but just enough to establish a difference.

@Gambit1024: I agree. It would have to be tied to his abilities, none of which I could think of at the moment. But my guess is that he'll be the next Zoom, whether or not he'll play the villain is really DC's [poor] choice.

It was said that they wanna put wally off for a while because they dont want him and barry to be in the same age range and they want to keep his family.

I'm just saying, I don't think everyone should get worked up over nothing. I love Wally West as much as I love Barry Allen. Also, uhm no, I'm not into turning Wally into a villain, I could accept if he is in the grey area, but turning him into a villain, not into it. But its not like DC would do that, because there are no signs pointing to that happening.
