Viners Have Double Standards Against Manga/Anime?

It looks viners, down play when comic books do something, but magnify when anime/manga does it.

This is just one example.

But it looks, there are other thing going on.

I hate when viners say that DBZ is stupid, cheesy, and confusing.

I get the first two, but I doubt anyone's considers it confusing.

They say power levels are inconsistent, so I guess that could be considered confusing. I don't agree, though.

When ever a viner says "I hate anime because it's weird ". I'm just like . . .

I also once saw someone (a staff member, in fact) say that they tried watching some, but couldn't get into it (I'm not sure if that counts though). And most of the people I'm friends with on here like it.

lol There was a brief moment of time where Saren would go to anime related threads and proclaim it as cancer, and people often mentions their disdain in the Unpopular Opinion thread.

Doesn't apply to me. Even so I hold them to different regards.

I don't really like it at all. Literally the only anime thing I have watched and enjoyed is Sword of the Stranger, I also occasionally watch Dragon Ball, im on like episode 40 something.

@allstarsuperman: Then that's your problem. Dragon Ball makes me want to puke and Sword of the Stranger had great action but a mediocre storyline.

If you actually saw some good anime you would probably change your mind, brotha!

@jonez120: Every time I try to watch some it ends up being tentacle porn, and sh!t like that. Suggest me a series with great action, that's not porn/fan service, and that preferably has English dubs and I might watch it.

Really? In retrospect, I thought Dragonball was really good. Simple, fun storyline, likeable characters, and a good bit of humor. The fights weren't that impressive, comparatively speaking, but I generally watched for the stories and the characters.

If you don't mind having your mind blown a bit, I'd suggest Big O. It's mainly a Giant Mech show, but with a lot of story around it. Plus, the main character is like Bruce Wayne mixed with James Bond.

Trigun also had some pretty epic action scenes. The main character was really entertaining, but when it came time, he could be a real BA. Plus, the animation still holds up great and the story is simple enough that the show doesn't generally take itself too seriously.

You're welcome. Those are both two of my favorite animes ever. If you especially like anime with plenty of gunfights, you'll like Trigun. (An old-west setting, with quasi-futuristic guns.)

@allstarsuperman: You know I feel like I am the only one that actually likes Hentai. I'll even admit to having some. I like a little story with my fluff. Anyways I am a hardcore collector of anime and can tell you that it is mostly about what you are really into. There are so many genre's out there that you would have to pick out something you like. Like with anything you have your good and your bad, but if you are open minded you can find some great stories, some sad ones, or even some horrific ones. Me I tend to stick with shonen/battle type anime/mangas and roncoms. Just keep in mind that it is a different culture so somethings can seem quite vexing to get trough. I say broaden your tastes and see what sticks.

@symbioticspider-man: love anime, while i was younger Dragon Ball Z was my favourite but after re-watching it while I am older can honestly say its cheesy without any real storyline. Sorry guys but there are good animes out there. Death Note is definitely my favourite.

My favorite of all time is DBZ, but Death Note is great as well :)

@symbioticspider-man: Like most animes if i'm honest. Did find Dragon Ball z very cheesy when I re watched it but thought was great the first time around. Not a big fan of the action animes prefer more story that though 2bh.

@symbioticspider-man: I really don't find comics that cheesy if i'm honest. Sure when the characters are being boy scouts they say cheesy things but compared to DBZ it really isn't anything haha.
