Thank you to everyone who voted on this list! I had 40 entires, and compiled the votes from those lists to a master list that I will debut here, and I had a good time going thru and seeing what you guys voted for. As stated on the voting forum, this list only includes heros from Live action films. The hero must also be tied with its actor, so the voters had to be specific if the hero had multiple big screen appearances. I gotta say that this list turned out pretty close to what I thought it would be, and I'm sure most of you readers will probably agree as well. So without further ado, let's get to the results!

Honorable Mentions

The Next Five (six)

10. Rorschach/ Jackie Earle Haley (3 first place votes) - 21 points (tie)

10. Batman/ Michael Keaton - 21 points (tie)

9. Professor X/ Patrick Stewart (1) - 22

8. Superman/ Henry Cavil (1) - 23

7. Spider-Man/ Andrew Garfield (2) - 24

6. Spider-Man/ Tobey Maguire (1) - 26

The Top Five

5. Captain America/ Chris Evans - 51 points (7 first place votes)

No Caption Provided

4. Batman/ Christian Bale - 53 Points (3)

No Caption Provided

3. Superman/ Christopher Reeve - 57 Points (6)

No Caption Provided

2. Wolverine/ Hugh Jackman - 72 Points (4)

No Caption Provided

1. Iron Man/ Robert Downey Jr. - 83 Points (5)

No Caption Provided

So do you agree with our list? If you don't, well then you should've voted. If you guys have any requests on future lists you'd like me to do, please let me know in the comments!

@fallschirmjager: There was a guy who made a top 5 bamf villains list, which would be similar to doing this kind of list for villains, but I guess it would be a bit different...

Pretty consistent from what I've seen. I didn't know people liked Evans that much.

Wolverine should be number one. Who holds the record for most movies playing the same character in comic movies.

@raffels: Both him and RDJ fit their characters perfectly. Hugh Jackman isWolverine and RDJ is Iron Man. The only difference is that more people prefer the Iron Man/Avengers movies more than the X-Men ones

Seems about right though (except Toby Maguire, I can't stand him crying and whining every 5 seconds)

@captainbatman: I prefer the X-Men movies but Hugh Jackman is the MVP in his movie universe. The value he has for that franchise is of more calibers then any other character in all comic book movies.

He played a fine typical nerd of that era, but I felt it was too cliche, and the problem was that he was no different when in the costume, he was still shy. I wanted to hear wisecrack after wisecrack, but all he gave were lame one-liners every now and then.

Christian Bale or Michael Keaton should not be on this list. Ron Pearlman for Hellboy and the dude that played Raphael in the first TMNT movie should replace them. FACT.

Also Andrew Garfield and tobey mcgauire could were a heartbeat away from the TOP 5? insanity!

I mean the top five, not the "honorable mentions". I don't even think Maguire should be on the list at all. He was horrible.

Just a quick note here based on the last few comments. Chris Evans at 5 had almost double the votes of Tobey at 6. The top 5 separated themselves early and we're never in danger by anyone really.

I agree with this, except Jackman should be number simply for longevity and dedication.

Don't be too hard on yourself, your dancing is quite entertaining.

IMO as Peter I would choose Maguire and as Spidey Garfeild

Garfield had the same problem of being the same guy in and out of the costume. Tobey was a better Peter Parker, Garfield was a better Spider-Man. I would take Maguire over Garfield because he still played a more believable character throughout, but it's a battle of less than stellar performances regardless.

I like the results overall. Glad to see Chris Evans in the top five. Surprised Downey took number one but don't have a problem with it.

Meh. Reeve should be first. He was the definitive Superman.
