Who are the top 10 most iconic heros?

I'd like to see everyone's list first before I post mine

Dont know about top ten, but the way I see top 5:

1. Superman

2. Batman

3. Spider-man

4. Captain America

5. Hulk

1. SUPERMAN: The first and most iconic superhero, ask almost anyone around the world regardless of race, gender, or religion and there is a good chance they know of Superman. He is the very definition of a superhero

2. BATMAN: Most likely the most popular superhero in the world, but I don't really know what else to say...it's Batman...'nuff said

3. SPIDER-MAN: Rivals Batman in terms of popularity and defintely one of the most iconic superheroes.

4. WONDER WOMAN: The most iconic and well know female superheroines. Even most non comic book characters have heard of Wonder Woman.

5. CAPTAIN AMERICA: Has been here since 1941, and is very symbolic, without a doubt one of the most iconic superheroes

6. FLASH: The most well known and iconic speedster in comics, even to non comic book readers.

7. HULK: The very definition if big brute strength, powerful characters, almost everyone knows this very cool character

8. ROBIN: Although not as popular as his mentor Batman, everyone at least knows who his sidekick is, also one of the first young/teenage superheroes and most well known sidekick.

9. WOLVERINE: Those three metal claws alone are very iconic. The most well known and most popular of the X-Men

10. AQUAMAN: Although sadly he's not taken seriously by some people outside of comic books, he is very well known and iconic

Could possibly be switched out onto the list: IRON MAN, THOR, CATWOMAN, GREEN LANTERN, GREEN ARROW
