TMNT: Out of the Shadows - Donatello Gameplay Trailer

Soon you'll be able to smack around ninjas with your buddies as the heroes in a half shell. To boost the anticipation, the game has been releasing trailers for each character and this week we get a peek at my favorite turtle: Donatello. The intellectual combatant appears to have slower moves than his peers, but on the plus side, they're more powerful and have superior range. Check out Donny's assorted moves below.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes out this summer on XBLA, PSN and Steam. Yes, it'll have four-player co-op. And in case you missed it, here are the trailers for Raphael and Michaelangelo.

The alleged release date is 6/26.

So I've heard, usually it's harder to confirm the release date for arcade game then it is for full priced retail games. Hopefully it comes out this month.

They don't need to be pretty. In the comics, cartoons and CGI you could actually look at them without feeling disgust. The realistic look doesn't work for TMNT.

@ximpossibrux: Just throwing it out there - this is probably the same reason why every normal human that they meet for the first time screams when meeting them.

I personally REALLY like this game's realistic designs, (which is probably helped by the fact that I also own turtles), because this is really what you'd expect some sort of mutant human/turtle hybrid to look like, while still keeping the key TMNT stylistic features intact (three fingers, and stature, etc). Gameplay & design-wise, this is very much looking like it's going to be what the "Arkham-verse" was to Batman: TAS is for the 2012 Ninja Turtles show, and I'm exceptionally pleased by that.

Lastly, Donatello is my favorite, and I love how his combat's been done. The visual design differences and unique fighting styles between the brothers has me crazy excited to play this game. I'm wondering if there'll be voice acting by the TMNT 2012 crew or not for this game, mainly because everything shown so far has been music and sound effects only.

this looks like fun. It looks repatcious but fun. If I could play Ultimate alliance and that was repaticious then I could play this. I watch these trailers and keep telling myself they need to do an Ultimate Alliance more this, but I doubt they could get that much memory for so many heroes. Here there are only 4. I hope they do some ninja stealth tho. I have my hopes up.

The one turtle with the slowest move set and this trailer is still awesome. Why can't time go faster?!

My question is the 4 player co-op only online or is it local? Less and less games are coming out nowadays that let me and my friends just all sit in the same room and beat up some bad guys. I really hate the online only stance lots of games seem to have now.
