Thor vs Thor: The Dark World

I like Thor: The Dark World better because of Kurse being a badass and Loki being way better a villain than he was in the first Thor. Thor is still a solid movie though. I feel like The Dark World spent more time away from earth, and the time away from Natalie Portmans annoying assistant girl, the better. The best parts of the Thor movies are not on earth IMO.

I really really like the first movie. The second movie failed my expectation.

Thor was the very first MCU movie I saw and I like it a lot more than Dark World. In fact, the second one is still one of my least favorite Marvel movies.

Thor: TDW was trash compared to the hype.

Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other. I like the Asgard stuff from part 1 more, but the majority of the movie he is depowered so it loses points there. On the whole, I would likely say Dark World. For final battle sequence, I'd go Thor.

Thor: The Dark World is booty and is the only comic book movie i've seen less than twice since I couldn't make it through a second viewing.

Thor. Despite the flaws, I loved it since I first saw it in theaters and it's stayed one of my favorites since.

Dark World on the other hand was just atrocious outside of a few decent performances.

Dark World was so generic and completely predictable.

It's hard to say, they're both very different.

The first one is a very personal story with emphasis on the character while the second opted for a more epic story with emphasis on the character's world.

I love them both but i'll give the sequel the vote as it contains my favourite MCU climax (the portal fight) and MCU comedic moment (Thor and Loki arguing about Thor's driving like an old married couple).
