Willem Defoe as the Joker, he's a great actor and seriously look at him.
This would make me happy
Who ever photoshopped that did a great job. The photo alone is convincing enough until you see his acting, which makes it more than sufficient.
@arturocalakayvee: And we already know he can play a really believable psychopath.
I alreadly was saying this. Im some thread the other day, it was called "Who can match Ledgers intensity as the Joker" and I sad William Defoe, but nobady replied.
@allstarsuperman: I didn't catch that thread
@joshmightbe: Definitely. This got my hopes up and I'm kind of let down this probably won't happen. With Defoe, I could easily imagine him playing a similar sadistic psychopath like we got in the TDK with Heath but at the same time make it his own and play on the "funny" aspect of Joker like we get in the comics.
The studio would want a younger actor so that they could push sequels off of him.As good as it sounds it ain't gonna happen.
Having only just watched the Boondock Saints last week, Defoe still makes me laugh.
thats awesome the "dress up" part proves he has got the creepiness factor down.
people keep saying he's a great actor....what has he done?
Spiderman, Boondock Saints, Antichrist, Platoon, Shadow of the Vampire

That scene wasn't very creepy. Do you have issues with transvestites or something?
Wow. I can totally see it now. Plus, WIllem Dafoe was scarier in Spider-Man when he wasn't in costume. Then again, his costume looked like a Power Rangers reject.
Oh my,that's perfect!

To be fair Defoe doesn't exactly make a pretty girl.

It's human nature to be taken aback by foreign cultures or appearances. It's a survival instinct.

Its true, even when he's the good guy he's always the most frightening guy in the movie.

And that makes him creepy?
@squares: No he's just kind of creepy in general, anything he does just has a vibe of creepiness to it. I'm fairly sure he could give you nightmares by eating an ice cream cone.

As the Joker he could do exactly that.
