but is mjolnir alive?
this may be a stupid question...
@sog7dc: He's attached to it. Lol.
lol specifically the way he heard it laughing recently. I cant tell if they were being facetious or serious
I just think Mjnoir has a very large sentimental value to Thor so he talks to it like we see people sometimes talk to non living things they are very attached to.

ok but let me ask you this; would you be open to the idea of mjolnir being a living sentient being? I wouldn't. to me it makes the deeming of worthiness and how thor interacts with mjolnir more interesting.
@sog7dc: Yes, I'd definitely be open to Mjolnir being sentient. Development like that is what keeps stories fresh. But to be honest, I'd be open to him doing anything. He's pretty much doing a perfect job on the book, so if he did it, it would be good. No, great. But an origin story? Right now I love what he's doing, and it would be sad to see it go on hiatus. It would definitely be cool after he's finished up with what's going on right now, though. I really hope he doesn't leave the book anytime soon.
Does anybody know if Esad Ribic is done or is he just taking a break?

Looks like his next work is X-Men in October.
Thor: Looks like Loki's back, Mjolnir, I guess it's...HAMMER TIME.
*Mjolnir spawns two cutesy anime eyes and a mouth*
Mjolnir: Nailed it!
10pts to anyone who knows where this is from.
MAD?
