Oh that makes sense considering the final issue of Green Lantern (Johns run).
But that's also so weird....why wouldn't Powerring (the ring itself) go back to E3? I wonder what happens to the CSA....
Totally cool, really want to see how her character folds out
But the Earth-3 ring is evil right? And it messes you up too, how is that gonna work?
Its explained somewhat in the interview. Its going to be part of the story for the overall arc. Supposedly theres a big reveal in FE #7 that leads into the next justice league arc.
cool. Don't know who that is though.
Looked it up on CV. Apparently Jessica Cruz was a teased mystery adversary for Simon Baz so zzzz.

I hope they do more with Baz, he has been completely ignored every since Geoff was finished with him.

Baz sucks IMO

Baz sucks IMO
Well..yeah, he does. But he can be written into greatness!
Ugh I am so sick of one event leading to another with Johns' JL. I wish the guy would freaking end a story. We've had trinity war go into villains month go into forever evil now go into the next arc with powering. I'm exhausted with all this forever evil stuff.....just let the story die johns.....let it die...

meh, I wouldnt be mad if he got retcnoned.....
While I find the CS power ring stuff interesting, the only real care I have is if Ivan Reis is drawing if he is then I am THERE
@sog7dc: well its just for the justice league arc. and it will probably lead into Rise of the Seven Seas sometime in the fall. I am excited yet cautious it sounds like they are trying to do too much..
cool. Don't know who that is though.

I think that's true, but my antipathy with Baz started before he was even introduced, simply because there are still so many American male "lead character" lanterns where every other "family" was having character list trimmed for the reboot. Even the bat-family felt the knife more than the Lanterns.
Just counting earth-born (American) green lanterns in the new 52, he's the 6th one (Scott, Jordan, Gardner, Stewart, Rayner). If we expand that to the whole spectrum, we've got 8 male american lanterns (Moore and the cat; I know, I know, but technically the cat counts). Running down the list of non-human book-leading ring slingers, it's still all men: Sinestro, Atrocitus, Larfleeze, that "noir" green lantern, etc. We get some relief in the prominent roles of Fatality and Ferris alongside John and Kyle respectively, and then there's Bleez and I guess Soranik in other books, but none lead their book.
So, much as I find Baz's archetype interesting given today's political climate (I especially liked the introduction of Faraday as a protesting participant in Baz's amoral water torture), I was mostly like 1) "really? another green lantern?" and 2) "he's another american dude?" If it was Jade, especially the Chinese version ("Jade Yifei") or revamped versions of other Earth-born female or non-American spinoffs (Wren, Parker, Li, Kai-Ro, Jordana, etc.) then I'd have been a bit more interested.
All that said, yes, he could still be written well and thereby win me over. I'm just not enthusiastic until that happens.
@v_scarlotte_rose: yes ma'am
@fallen_crippled: That happen to the Blue Lanterns but one survived .
