So I'm new to comics, have gotten most of the graphic novels that Sara recommended
I want to get introduced to Deadpool, Daredevil, and just Marvel in general
Also I don't know a lot about Green Lantern and Green Arrow, would like that too
What comic arcs are pretty good that are recent?
Thanks :)
I was wondering where to start with moon knight. I'd be fine going an arc or so back, but I'd like to start somewhere semi-current.
Somewhat of a retcon from hero standards to bloody and gritty (and clinically insane, swear words and not for minors) starts from the beginning of....
Moon Knight vol 6 (2006) (30 issues)
....and introduces a couple of new characters that appear in current comics (i.e. shadowland)
Then you could continue to the Vengeance of the Moon Knight (currently 10 issues)
What is good Namor reading. I read the ultimate fantastic four storyline he was in, but does he make any other appearences in the ultimate universe?

Where is a good place to start in the current main series Thor? I don't mind buying a back couple of issues if I have to but nothing more than 10 issues back if possible.

What should I read if I want to learn more about Gambit?
Also, what are some good black cat and spiderman stories?
" What should I read if I want to learn more about Gambit? Also, what are some good black cat and spiderman stories? "4 plus days and no response?
There are so many Batman titles in that list...
Say I was familiar with Batman, having seen all the movies, and wanted to get into his comics, is there any one book that would make for a good jump-in?
" @N7_Normandy said:I think Gambit's a tricky one as he's been good, then bad, then good again, then bad again...He's had several solo runs, so I'd say those would be a good place to start" What should I read if I want to learn more about Gambit? So I am planning on jumping in on Amazing Spider-Man when Big Time starts but as I've been out of 616 Spidey titles for quite a bit I was wondering if I should go back and read from Brand New Day? Is it worth me doing that, so I get all that stuff and the Gauntlet storylines?
Cheeeeeers.
" There are so many Batman titles in that list...Try Hush, pretty much every member of the batman family and a good part of his rogues show up. It was the first batman title I read myself and a lot of people did. It's a good story showing the detective skills, his fighting skills. And it also shows his human side.

" @Danial79: Check your book stores around you if you can't find it at your comic stores, they just released volumes 1 and 2 together in one collection. So you get the whole story for 25 dollars. And I think you'll love the story, and it's a good place to get your feet wet so to speak with the whole Batman mythos. "Just found it on Amazon for $16.50! I've added it to my wishlist :)
Avoid his countdown appearances, it was an over all awful series that's best forgotten. And if you meant current stuff he's not been in anything since batman and robin, except lsot days which is set in the past.
I would start by checking out the gen discussion threats or even the off topic stuff. and i would post random stuff that occurs to you, you'd be surprised the things people will comment on. :) have fun
