The Where Should I Start thread

I would recommend you read World War Hulks and Second Coming, quality comics in my opinion, the following Hulk story arc looks interesting too. "

So I'm new to comics, have gotten most of the graphic novels that Sara recommended
I want to get introduced to Deadpool, Daredevil, and just Marvel in general
Also I don't know a lot about Green Lantern and Green Arrow, would like that too
What comic arcs are pretty good that are recent?

I was wondering where to start with moon knight.  I'd be fine going an arc or so back, but I'd like to start somewhere semi-current.

I'm a bit new to all of this but does any know if it is possible to sub to comic series?

Hmm now this is a hard one, I would recommend if you have the money and the time to start from Annihilation if not I would suggest you start with the Thanos Imperative. "

Try to read in from thor 600. it's only 15 issues. "

And that will provide a good jumping off point? Is there anything else I should before that, I am not very familiar with his character? I know a little bit about Norse mythology but I am not sure how much that ties into his comics. "

Say I was familiar with Batman, having seen all the movies, and wanted to get into his comics, is there any one book that would make for a good jump-in?

So I am planning on jumping in on Amazing Spider-Man when Big Time starts but as I've been out of 616 Spidey titles for quite a bit I was wondering if I should go back and read from Brand New Day? Is it worth me doing that, so I get all that stuff and the Gauntlet storylines?

Try Hush, pretty much every member of the batman family and a good part of his rogues show up. It was the first batman title I read myself and a lot of people did. It's a good story showing the detective skills, his fighting skills. And it also shows his human side. "

And I think you'll love the story, and it's a good place to get your feet wet so to speak with the whole Batman mythos. "

What would be the best title to start with for a batman fan.  

I would start by checking out the gen discussion threats or even the off topic stuff.  and i would post random stuff that occurs to you, you'd be surprised the things people will comment on.  :) have fun
