The posterchildren for lesbians in comicbooks - Gen. Discussion

I am making a presentation of LGBT in media, and I am including comic book characters.

Who can we say are the poster children for lesbians in comic books.

I know for sure Batwoman and Mystique are posterchildren but I would like some more. Are there anymore who are actually developed characters that are bigger than their sexuality or sex appeal?

Mystique is more bi than lesbian.

But these characters come to mind:

Destiny

Karma

Batwoman

Question (Montoya)

Northstar. He was one of the first character to jump out of the closet and he just got the first gay marriage in comics.

Boo Cat and Licorice Dust are a lesbian couple in Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose, although they are in an "open relationship" and Boo still carries on with Tarot. I have no idea what you politics is here on the subject, and I'm not really interested, a lot of people will dismiss this book as "porn" but its not just about sex and neither is these two's relationship, its more about freedom....
