@rogueshadow: lol
The Newest Teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is Awesome
@gotham331: Wookies grow a lot older then humans a couple hundred years more if I recall correctly. Chewbacca was in the clone wars as well making him at least over 100 years old maybe older so my guess is he is around his 40's compared to us.
I've been bed ridden with sickness for the past week. This trailer was so awesome that it instantly cured me and made me more physically well than I have ever been...then I had I realized I had to wait to watch the actual movie and I became sicker than ever
@juzacloud: 18 and loving it.
YES!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED FROM THE FIRST TEASER!
Music and everything is perfect.
this
@judasnixon: DANGER 5!
And I'm stoked.
So this means Han and Leia's kids are not twins? :/ But anyway this looks cool, can't wait ^_^ Hope they keep Luke's son from the EU
Tha Tie Fighter pilot looked wicked. I'm getting the palpatations! <dies> Ack! Harrison Ford breaks a leg,crashes a plane,survives and still is in this movie,as far as I'm concerned he IS Han Solo!
@gothicshieldagent: So you're saying he wasn't Han Solo before?
Anyone else notice the tense used when referring to Darth Vader? "My father 'has' it".
Pretty sure that should be "had".

Unless the person speaking isn't Luke. If it's Luke's kid it could make sense or there is a rumor that the movie will be about attempts to clone Vader/Anakin. Or he could just be referring to the blue-ghost Anakin similar to blue-ghost Obi-wan.
Anyway, I've seen the trailer about 20 times now and I still love it. December can't get here soon enough for me.
Dose anyone else see a really old harrison ford and not Han Solo cause I do it that put a bummer on the trailer for me.
This is great. The trailer strums or picks all the right chords. Having Mark Hamill narrate the second sequence was such an awesome idea. His voice is nostalgic, sentimental, but it also does a great job of setting the tone of succession and adventure. Speaking of sentimental, John Williams’s theme is so timeless and endearing. It’s a beautiful piece of music. The repetition of the high note to convey the dramatic tension was astutely different and awe-inspiring. They did a great job with providing a framework for the film and establishing expectations. I can’t wait to see this.
I really don't want to point this out, but I don't think that the guy luke is talking to is han and leia's son (or daughter), he says the "force is strong in my family" "MY" not "our", but maybe that's just the keeping us viewers on our toes, but it seems odd
otherwise, I am ecstatic for this new film, can't wait to see it
2 things that stuck out to me: 1) "my father has it.." line will either be a disappointment or a holy shit prospect; and 2) That's pretty much Darth Revans mask. The plot rumors suggest something of an ancient power thst Luke is protecting or in search for. Could it be something similar to the star forge, with Revans mask and Saber inside along with something more? Or are they borrowing similarity to Revans look and playing it off like an original idea.
@supermanwithatan01: Probably the latter, just because it looks like Revan's mask, doesn't mean that it's going to specifically be that Revan or anything involving Kotor or whatever. They could have gotten the design and such, but the mask could from a new character entirely or what have you. Which I kinda hope it is, because new characters are always great, especially for the new EU, there's no need to bring in old when there's now a lot of room to work with.
@wolfrazer: agreed. But the concern is that now comparasons will be made because of something as simple as a mask, and it would be nice to have at least a mention of its similarity in the movie. I also hope that unlike the previous 6 films, this one has some great characters that don't have to be Jedi or Sith to be badass. Don't get me wrong about characters like Han or Lando, but more substance and playing up a Boba Fett kinda badass or 2 would be nice.
@supermanwithatan01: So have a guy in armor just stand around and then fall into a Sarlacc when he goes to do something? XD
Though I think the black armored Stormtrooper is shaping up to be that guy, looks awesome.
So we have a female and black lead because of what exactly? Political correctness. I don't like being told how to think or what to think and I certainly don't like a lack of authenticity, so I'm not sure about this movie.
@mollydanger2210: Yes, political correctness. Could you imagine a world in which females and black were actually talented enough to be leads in a blockbuster?
@tbrand32300: Boyega and the chick didn't get the roles because of acting talent silly, they got them because one is a Negro and the other is a woman.
The government and mass media declare that such and such groups are special and sanctified and the hulking masses are supposed to simply obey. There's no genuine compassion or sympathy for the represented groups. Just mindless conformity to governmental and societal pressure. Brainless drone syndrome.
Anybody who has brains enough to see the sham operation for what it is is immediately berated and hounded by his peers; attacked with a ready made list of government issued buzzwords to censor and curtail dissent. You know like racist, homophobe, misogynist. Blah blah blah.
It's disgusting.
@mollydanger2210: For one thing, its not like they're the only leads, there are plenty of white men in this film. Also, hate to rain on your parade, but you know that Lando guy? Or Leia? Stop acting like you're a hero just cause you get mad when minorities succeed.
You all do realize that the teaser showed absolutely nothing of value except for Chewie and Han in the last 3 seconds, right? It's like they are blatantly taking advantage of the hype and the fanboyism.
I've heard people on the radio and seen people on TV discussing this trailer, yet I still can't get where all the excitement comes from... the last teaser for Batman V Superman hasn't gathered nearly this much interest even though it says a lot more about the plot and potential events throughout the movie.
