My vote goes towards super speed
Healing factors. Healing factors heal you they don't bring you back from the dead! They just make it harder for someone to make you dead!
Yep, too bad no one who's written Wolverine in the last 20 years knows that.
Overrated by who? Comic fans, or writers? The difference is pretty big. If a writer thinks a power is all that and a bag of chips, he can make the character more powerful. Take the Flash for instance. His only real power is super speed and yet somehow he's getting more and more absurd feats as time goes on. In reality, someone running really fast punching a steel door is still going to break their hand because that's how physics works.
I don't think most of these people understand what overrated means...
yup. I completely agree...I don't even see how most of these are overrated.
And as for Wolverine's healing factor...let's be honest,Healing Factor is just a term that doesn't fit it...his "HF" transcends an actual healing factor...although I think that that is what it started out as.
Although a healing factor would be like Hawk's,or Hawkman's,or Deathstroke's or Spiderman's,or Captain America,etc.....It accelerates your healing process.Wolverine's Healing Factor is,well,it is far beyond the category of Healing Factor. It's one of the many things I love about his character....
I don't understand how super speed is overrated. I think it's underrated. Most people think you can "only run fast."
With super speed, you think and react faster. You can phase through walls and maybe even turn invisible. You're very hard to hit in a fight. You can punch harder through momentum of your running.
I always thought that super speed is one of my top 3 powers I would want.
(Going by comic book physics of course)
Flying and swinging through the air. Whether its through natural ability like Superman, magic like Captain Marvel (DC), webbing like Spiderman, rings and willpower or through gadgets like the grappling hook or personal planes or flying armor. Don't really have a problem with it and I actually like the heroes having those impossible ways of traveling...its just interesting that a lot of the heroes seem to have some kind of flying mechanism regardless if they are human or not...
